APP Chicago Open

The 2023 APP Chicago Open ran August 30–September 3, 2023. Matches were staged at Danny Cunniff Park in Highland Park, Illinois. It was an APP Tour event with pro gold medal matches on Sunday. In men’s singles, Jaume Martinez Vich defeated Christopher Haworth, winning 11–6, 11–5 and then 15–13 in the championship tiebreak. Dominique Schaefer captured women’s singles, defeating Salome Devidze 11–5, 5–11, 11–4. In men’s doubles, Stefan Auvergne and John Cincola beat Andrei Daescu and Rob Nunnery 11–4, 11–3. They clinched the title in the 15‑point decider, 15–13. Vivian Glozman and Alix Truong won women’s doubles 11–6, 11–9. They finished the job in the tiebreak, 15–12. Tina Pisnik and Martin Emmrich claimed mixed doubles gold with a 15–11 championship tiebreak.
