Tina Pisnik is a Slovenian professional pickleball player who competes on the PPA Tour, where she is billed as an "Ex-Olympian." Before pickleball she was a professional tennis player: born in Maribor in 1981, she "turned professional in 1999," and per Wikipedia "Pisnik's highest singles ranking was world No. 29, which she reached on 12 January 2004," with a career-high doubles ranking of "world No. 63 on 3 April 2000." The same source notes she "won one singles title and two doubles titles on the WTA Tour" and that she "had represented her country of Slovenia in the Olympics." The PPA Tour says she found the sport when, after initial reluctance, "after I played my first tournament, I was hooked." She competes in women's and mixed doubles.
