The 2025 APP Great Lakes Open was held August 13–17, 2025 at the Greater Midland Tennis Center. The Association of Pickleball Players staged five Championship Sunday matches to conclude the tournament. Katerina Stewart defended her women’s singles title. Ammar Wazir took men’s singles gold over Dusty Boyer, 15–8, 18–16. Richard Livornese Jr. and Tanner Tomassi secured men’s doubles for a second straight title together. Bobbi Oshiro and Sofia Sewing won women’s doubles. Sewing then paired with Casey Diamond to win mixed doubles, Diamond’s first pro gold. The event welcomed hundreds of players across ages and included AARP Champions and Masters pro divisions and U16 and U13 junior divisions. Gold medalists earned USA Pickleball Golden Tickets for the 2026 USA Pickleball National Championships, and amateur medalists earned an APP Passport guaranteeing pre‑registration for the 2025 APP Tour Championships.
