The 2025 APP Chicago Open took over the courts at Danny Cunniff Park from August 27–31, 2025. The Association of Pickleball Players hosted the event in Highland Park, Illinois. Ammar Wazir won men’s singles gold in his hometown tournament. Sofia Sewing captured the women’s singles title over Katerina Stewart. Will Howells and Jack Munro won the men’s doubles title. Shelby Bates and Sewing clinched the women’s doubles crown. Megan Fudge and Munro won mixed doubles.
