Anne-Sophie Courteau is a Canadian professional pickleball player from Quebec who competes on the PPA Tour. Before turning to pickleball, she played tennis, earning a professional ranking and competing in tournaments in the United States before a persistent wrist injury slowed that career. She discovered pickleball while playing tennis with fellow Quebecer Catherine Parenteau, and entered her first tournament within weeks of taking up the sport. In Brossard, on Montreal's South Shore, she heads a new pickleball facility, L'Esprit sportif, which she also envisions as a high-performance development hub, working with Tennis Canada to help train new pickleball coaches.
