Anni Xie is a professional pickleball player from Nanjing, China, born in 2001. A right-handed player, she is profiled as a UPA Asia Trailblazer and has competed on the PPA Tour. Before taking up pickleball, she was a college tennis player at Zhejiang University, where she completed an undergraduate degree in Administrative Management and went on to postgraduate study in Sports Humanities and Sociology. Xie was introduced to pickleball by a friend and was drawn to the sport for the travel and the friendships made through tournaments. She speaks both Chinese and English.
