Armaan Bhatia is a professional pickleball player from India, described by The Dink as "India's #1 ranked pickleball player." Before pickleball he competed in tennis, beginning at age five at the Khar Gymkhana in Mumbai and winning the Indian Open Nationals at seventeen before stepping away from the sport in 2019. He comes from an athletic family; his grandfather, cricketer Abdul Ismail, was known in India as the "Sultan of Swing" for his bowling. Bhatia played his first professional pickleball tournament at the 2022 Bainbridge Cup in Mumbai and committed to the sport full-time in November 2023. At the PWR DUPR India Masters in October 2024 he won a triple crown, taking men's singles, men's doubles with his regular partner Harsh Mehta, and mixed doubles with Roos van Reek.
