Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Augustus "Augie" Ge grew up playing tennis. He competed at the collegiate level for the University of New Mexico and the University of Arizona, earning a bachelor's degree in mathematics. A University of Arizona tennis alumnus, Ge was also a competitive table tennis player before picking up the pickleball paddle in 2022. He competes on the PPA Tour.
