Bao Duong is the younger brother of PPA Tour player Quang Duong. He made his professional pickleball debut in 2023, partnering his brother in men's doubles at the Hertz Gold Cup in Daytona Beach, Florida. Nicknamed "Nitro," Bao is naturally right-handed but trains as a left-hander in tennis and pickleball under his father, Duc, who coaches both brothers.
