Brad Mixson is a professional pickleball coach who was born and raised in Miami. Before pickleball, he played collegiate tennis at Florida State University and pursued a junior tennis career, later becoming a hitting partner for tennis stars including Naomi Osaka, Venus Williams, and Grigor Dimitrov. As part of the racquet sports staff at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida, Mixson began teaching pickleball in 2018 and went on to coach several South Florida pickleball pros. He joined the APP's high performance coaching staff at The Fort, the tour's global headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. Mixson resides in the Miami area with his wife, Lindsay, and seven children.
