Brooke Buckner is an American professional pickleball player who competes on the PPA Tour. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she spent most of her childhood in Delray Beach, Florida. Before pickleball, she was one of the most decorated tennis players at the University of Michigan and later served as an assistant coach for the women's tennis team at UNC Charlotte. Buckner started playing pickleball in October 2020, a few months after the birth of her son, and turned pro in 2022. She is a right-handed player who resides in Concord, North Carolina. At the 2024 Veolia LA Open, she defeated Lauren Stratman to capture her first PPA Tour gold medal. Buckner became the inaugural Agassi x JOOLA signature athlete, debuting the Agassi Pro paddle at the 2025 PPA Tucson Open.
