Cass Hoag is a professional pickleball player who grew up in Indiana and took up the sport with her father about six months before finishing college. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2022 with a degree in biomechanical engineering. After joining her father for lessons with coach Yohann Nograbat — who suggested she turn professional — Hoag decided to try competing for a year. She has been sponsored by Selkirk Sport and K-Swiss, and most often partners with Anderson Scarpa in doubles. Away from the tour, Hoag also works as a pickleball coach at the Brown Family YMCA.
