Christa Gecheva, who also competes under the name Christa-Viktoria Gecheva, is a professional pickleball player on the PPA and APP tours. Originally from Wimbledon, London, she is a former Division I tennis player at the University of Wyoming who coached tennis before discovering pickleball in Newport Beach, California, in 2021. She identifies Bulgaria as her home country. In December 2022 she was drafted by the Dallas Pickleball Club in Major League Pickleball, after which she relocated to Florida to travel the pro tour. Gecheva finished as runner-up in women's singles at the 2023 APP Philadelphia Open, and, partnering Kaitlyn Christian, reached the semifinals of the 2025 PPA Red Rock Open.
