Corrine Carr grew up around Myrtle Beach and Pinehurst, North Carolina, where she gravitated to golf early in life, earning a scholarship to Furman University before finishing her collegiate career playing for South Carolina. A junior tennis player as well, she first picked up pickleball in 2014 while completing a PhD in Finance at Michigan State. Carr won gold in Women's Doubles Pro at the 2018 Tournament of Champions and the 2018 US Open, and earlier took gold in Women's Doubles Masters at the 2017 Tournament of Champions. She also partnered Simone Jardim to win silver in Women's Pro Doubles at the 2019 US Open. Carr has since competed in Major League Pickleball.
