Dekel Bar is an Israeli professional pickleball player and a former professional tennis player. During about six years on the pro tennis tour, he reached a No. 3 national ranking in Israel along with ATP rankings in doubles and singles, before multiple abdominal injuries ended his tennis career. His longtime friends Collin and Ben Johns introduced him to pickleball, and on the pro tour he is known for his power and athleticism. Nicknamed "Big D," Bar turned pro in 2018 and resides in Austin, Texas. He has studied Economics and Entrepreneurship at IDC Herzliya University in Israel and is co-owner of two businesses, Pickleball 360 and Pickleball Getaways.
