Donald Young is a professional pickleball player on the PPA Tour, where he competes in men's singles. Born in Chicago, Young is one of several notable tennis names to enter the professional pickleball game. As a junior tennis player he reached No. 1 in the junior world rankings at age 16, then competed on the ATP Tour in both singles and doubles. A left-hander, he reached the 2017 French Open men's doubles final and advanced to the fourth round of the US Open in singles in both 2011 and 2015, achieving top-50 rankings in both disciplines at the height of his tennis career. When he is not travelling to play in tournaments, he resides outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
