Hercilio Cabieses is a professional pickleball player from Lima, Peru. He and his sister, Miranda, grew up with the opportunity to play tennis before taking up pickleball. After the pandemic, Hercilio became a regular on the APP Tour, and he said he hoped to play both APP and PPA events in 2024. The Cabieses siblings represented Peru for the first time at the US Open in 2021, carrying the Peruvian flag during the opening ceremony. Together they co-founded the Cabieses Foundation, which has introduced pickleball to communities across Peru, and created the Pickleball World Cup, hosted in Lima.
