Irina Tereschenko is a professional pickleball player who came to the sport from a competitive tennis background, having played tennis at Texas Tech. A veteran of the PPA Tour, she is a multiple-time pickleball major champion: she won the women's singles title at the 2016 USAPA Nationals, and partnered with Lucy Kovalova to take women's pro doubles gold at both the 2018 USAPA Nationals and the 2019 US Open. Her competitive pickleball journey began in 2015 when she was invited to the Tournament of Champions.
