Ivan Jakovljevic is a professional pickleball player who competes on the PPA Tour in men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. Born in Croatia, he moved to the United States in 2018 to play professional soccer, a career that included time with Oklahoma City Energy FC and the Houston Dynamo organization. He was introduced to pickleball in 2021 while teaching tennis in Tyler, Texas, and after winning numerous amateur tournaments he began competing in professional events in 2022. In 2023 he relocated from Tyler to Chandler, Texas, and started playing pickleball on a full-time basis. He met his wife, Katie, through the sport.
