Before pickleball he was a semi-pro golfer and also played some soccer, and he discovered the sport while on vacation at Tres Palapas Baja Resort in Los Barriles, Mexico. He turned pro in 2021 and signed with the PPA in 2023. Wasson is a CRBN-sponsored athlete and plays right-handed. Off the court, he enjoys cooking and spending time with friends.
