Mayu Ito (伊藤 真侑) is a professional pickleball player from Japan who competes on the PPA Tour Asia. Born in 2000, she is from Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido. Ito played soft tennis from age seven through junior high school before switching to regular tennis in high school. She took up pickleball after being introduced to the sport by an American friend, and made the decision to leave corporate work to pursue pickleball professionally after about ten months in the sport. She is profiled as a UPA Asia athlete. At the PPA Tour Asia Sansan Fukuoka Open, Ito received a wildcard entry into the singles event.
