Pablo Tellez is a professional pickleball player from Colombia who competes on the PPA Tour in men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. Before pickleball, he played collegiate tennis at the University of West Florida and won the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2017. He started playing pickleball in December of 2019 "after randomly signing up for a pro tournament without ever playing pickleball before," and turned professional in 2022. A left-handed player, Tellez attributes much of his success to his crafty shot-making. He also competes for the Atlanta Bouncers in Major League Pickleball and teaches the sport at his country club in Naples, Florida.
