Riley Bohnert is a Louisville, Kentucky native who competes as a professional pickleball player on the APP Tour. She started playing during the pandemic, after her parents set up a court in their backyard, and discovered the sport around age 15. At the APP Indianapolis Open in 2022, she won gold in women's doubles partnering her mother. Bohnert turned professional rather than enrolling in college, and was selected for Team USA for the first APP Atlantic Cup, held in Miami in 2024.
