Salome Devidze is a Georgian professional pickleball player who competes in women's singles on the PPA Tour and APP Tour. Born in Tbilisi, she came up through a tennis family and earlier played professional tennis, representing Georgia in Fed Cup and competing at the US Open, French Open, and Wimbledon. After tennis, she was introduced to pickleball while visiting a brother in Indiana in 2021 and began training seriously in January 2022. In just her third tournament, the 2023 APP Mesa Open, she won her first gold medal in women's singles. She describes the APP community warmly, calling it "like a family."
