Sam Querrey is an American former professional tennis player who later competed in pickleball on the PPA Tour. In tennis, he reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 11 and won ten ATP singles titles. His best Grand Slam result came at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships, where he reached the semifinals after defeating world No. 1 Andy Murray in five sets in the quarterfinals. Querrey announced his retirement from tennis on August 30, 2022, and joined the PPA Tour in 2023, competing in men's doubles, men's singles, and mixed doubles. At one PPA event he partnered former collegiate tennis player Ryan Sherry in men's doubles.
