Taylor Garcia is a professional pickleball player from the New Orleans, Louisiana area. Before pickleball, she competed in collegiate tennis at Washington and Lee University, where she was, in the school's words, "one of the most decorated tennis players in W&L's history" — a "two-time singles All-American and NCAA individual qualifier (2021 and 2022)" who reached "career-high national rankings of No. 15 in singles and No. 19 in doubles." She has said she set her tennis racket aside after her final college season, telling DUPR she "embarked on her professional pickleball career" in August of 2023. Garcia competes on the PPA and APP tours across women's singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles, and is based in the Washington, D.C./Virginia area.
