William Sobek is a professional pickleball player and an adidas pickleball athlete who has competed on the APP Tour. He has said he began playing pickleball at age four, training daily before breaking through at the professional level. At the 2023 APP Boca Raton New York City Open, Sobek won the men's singles gold medal, defeating Australia's Vuk Velickovic in a tiebreaker after saving multiple match points. Sobek has also competed and coached internationally, including in parts of Europe.
