Yufei Long is a professional pickleball player from China who competes on the PPA Tour Asia circuit. She came to the sport from collegiate tennis, having played NCAA Division I tennis while earning a bachelor's degree in biology from Boston College and a master's in public health from Vanderbilt University. Long was accepted into biomedical informatics PhD programs at the University of Washington and Washington University in St. Louis, but deferred those studies to pursue pickleball full time. During the 2025 PPA Tour Asia season she captured gold-medal finishes in women's singles, including a win at the Sansan Fukuoka Open. She has described pickleball as a pursuit that "rekindled that drive while introducing me to new challenges."
